Student Experience Team

The purpose of this role is to provide a world changing experience that encapsulates the servanthood we are to have as followers of Christ. This is accomplished by serving in multiple roles as needed at the time. 

Time Commitment:

• Every Wednesday 5:45pm-8:45pm

Key Roles:

New Student Welcome Team

• Help new students feel welcomed, connected, and known

Crowd Control Team

• Direct students to where they are supposed to be

Courtyard Team (HS and VV Only)

• Create an environment for students to connect with each other through fun activities

Key Responsibilities:

New Student Welcome Team:

• Welcome first time students and give them free swag
• Be a welcoming face for new and returning students alike
• Guide students where to go and answer any questions parents may have
• Write a thank you card to all new students 
• Tear down welcome tent

Courtyard Team:

• Set up courtyard games 
• Facilitate courtyard games
• Tear down courtyard games after service

Crowd Control Team: 

• Direct students, greet them, and keep them out of harm’s way 
• Sit with students who are alone; monitor crowd dynamics during service
• Guide students into the designated area once programming starts
