New Testament Survey – Part 2

May 18 3:00 - 5:00 pm  |  Victorville Campus

Teacher: Kurt Thielen

After the resurrection and ascension of Jesus, the church was launched, the message of the gospel spread, and the world was changed forever.  This radical movement of Christianity is revealed powerfully in the books of Acts and Romans. In this seminar, we will unpack how the teachings and redemptive work of Christ were fleshed out in the early church and how the truth of the gospel becomes the most important truth we could ever understand. By understanding these books better, we begin to learn how the rest of the New Testament all fits together. We’ll explore their unique perspectives, historical context, central themes, and theological significance in understanding both the development and expansion of the church. We will also discover how God’s Spirit transformed people like those first disciples to change the world and how God still mobilizes disciples like us today to change our world too.
