” . . . serve one another humbly in love.”
As we prepare to kick off another serving season at our One Conference, I wanted to communicate my thanks and affirmation for those from our HDC church family who are putting their God-given gifts into practice and fulfilling the directive given in Galatians 5 – “serve one another humbly in love.” A consistent message in the New Testament is that Jesus’ followers would understand their unique ministry design and put their gifts to use serving Jesus by serving His people. This idea is found in multiple letters to the churches as well as the personal exhortations to Timothy and Titus.
To those who are serving this season, thank you for putting your gifts to use and to better prepare our church family to “change their worlds for Christ.” To those who aren’t yet serving, would you reach out to Pastor Paul and request a spiritual gifts inventory, complete it and follow up with him to determine a good ministry role for you here @ HDC? I want you to experience the great joy of serving according to your design to benefit others as you’re obedient to Jesus’ calling on your life!
