What You'll Do

· Help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for children, attendees, volunteers, and staff across our campus. 

· Maintain an "observe and report" mindset by identifying potential safety concerns and communicating them promptly. 

· Respond appropriately to incidents and assist with emergency situations as directed. 

· Participate in ongoing training and drills with other campus ministries for fire, earthquake, medical, and other emergency response situations.

Who Can Serve

Anyone who has a heart to serve the church by helping provide a safe environment for others. 

· Previous experience in law enforcement, military, security, fire service, medical response, or another safety-related field is preferred, but not required. 

· Individuals who are able to stand and walk for extended periods while remaining alert and engaged.

Time Commitment

· Serve a minimum of two weekend services per month. 

· Occasional availability for special events and holiday services is appreciated. 

· Participate in periodic team training opportunities

Your presence helps create an atmosphere where people feel safe, cared for, and free to focus on worship, learning, and connecting with God. By helping protect our children, attendees, and volunteers, you play an important role in making our church a place where everyone can experience peace of mind.

Requirements

· Successfully complete an HDC-provided Live Scan background check. 

· Demonstrate a friendly, servant-hearted attitude when interacting with attendees and fellow volunteers. 

· Be available on weekends to fulfill the minimum serving commitment. 

· Maintain regular attendance and active involvement in church life.
