Fearing Instead of Waiting | Todd Arnett

Fear makes us feel like we must do something—anything—rather than trust the One who actually holds the outcome. In 1 Samuel 13, King Saul hit that wall. As his soldiers fled and the enemy closed in, he decided waiting on God was too slow. He didn't pray; he tried to force a blessing on his own terms, and it cost him everything. We’ve all been there, deciding that taking the wheel is safer than waiting. But waiting isn’t passive; it’s an act of courageous trust that gives God space to do what only He can do. This week, let’s choose that trust by making prayer our very first move, instead of our last resort.
