We Would Love to Have you Join Us for Easter At High Desert Church!

A smiling middle-aged man in a blue and black plaid shirt stands on a stage. A spotlight shines behind him as he holds part of his audio equipment.

For many, Easter has a host of varied traditions and practices - from decorating and hiding Easter eggs to a family gathering to a meal with specific dishes and, for some, dressing up and going to church for a semi-annual visit. But the original occasion for this holiday that we celebrate called Easter wasn’t about these traditions, but celebrated the single greatest victory in human history - Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. Nothing could hold Him down!

But before He was crucified and buried, He taught a group of mourners not just about “the resurrection,” but He said, “I AM the resurrection.” In the God-man, it would be possible for those who trust in Jesus to one day be raised with Him to life everlasting.

You’re invited to High Desert Church Easter weekend, Saturday April 4th and Sunday April 5th, to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection and to find out how His eternal life can become yours.

It’s not about what’s inside the egg - it’s about who is no longer in the tomb!

Join us for our "I AM" Sermon Series
the next weekend

The words 'I AM' in large, capital letters filled with a vibrant, multicolored abstract pattern against a solid black background.

Who is Jesus—really? In the Gospel of John, Jesus made a series of powerful statements about Himself using the phrase “I AM.” He said things like “I am the bread of life,” “I am the light of the world,” and “I am the resurrection and the life.” These weren’t just metaphors—they were bold claims about who He is and how He meets the deepest needs of our lives.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll explore these statements together and discover what they reveal about Jesus’ identity, His power, and why people still trust and follow Him today. Whether you’re new to church or have been following Jesus for years, this series will help you know Him more clearly and lean on Him more confidently.
