This trip is important because it will allow our students to gain a greater understanding for each believer’s responsibility to global missions and God’s love for all people. Beyond that, these trips can often be catalytic in the spiritual development of students and provide a context for deeper relationships with both peers and leaders.
There is an application process for this trip because some students may not be ready for an international trip. The application and the interview help us determine each student’s readiness for such a trip. In order to be considered for this trip, these steps must be taken:
1 – Fill out and turn in this application by Friday, November 30.
2 – The Student Ministry team will contact you to schedule an in-office interview with an HDC Students staff member.
All accepted team members will be given a team meeting schedule and financial checklist.
Team members will be encouraged to raise support and will be equipped to do so. After the teams are assembled, we will have a MANDATORY team meeting for parents and students to learn the details about our trip. At this meeting, parents will also get to meet the adult volunteers and staff going on the trip.
