Harbor
Worship Ministry
At Harbor,
our hope is that the music at each service would be an authentic expression of
gratitude and love to God. Through a style that is mostly rock and pop,
we endeavor to prepare a worship time each week that will be meaningful to a
variety of cultural backgrounds.
We believe
that relationship within the ministry is key both on stage and off. We
are more than just a group of musicians. We are friends, prayer partners,
and sometimes even small group members, serving together to worship and to lead
our church.
Where
can you serve?
Worship
Choir
- The
choir is a great place to come, get connected, learn great music, and to be a
part of something really special. The time commitments include two
Thursday evenings a month from 6:00 - 7:30 as well as one weekend a month.
Worship
Band
-
Currently, we have four rotating bands that consist of bass, electric, and
acoustic guitars as well as piano, B3, percussion, and drums. Additional
instruments are used from time to time (see Harbor Miscellaneous Instrumentalists). Just because you may not see your
particular instrument on stage regularly, do not assume there is not an
opportunity for you.
Worship Vocalist
- The front line vocalists are asked to help lead worship on a rotation. Along with a growing and vibrant relationship with God, these vocalists must have a soloist quality to their voice along with a strong ear for harmony and style
