What is Seven?
Seven is a young adult community at
High Desert Church. This “Church within a Church” was birthed in 2002 with a vision to reach non-believing young adults in the Victor Valley. At Seven, we carry the same mantra as HDC, “Preparing People to Change Their World For Christ.” We value God’s Word and community (meaning connecting with others, serving, and helping each other grow in Christ). We value an atmosphere where any non-believer could walk in and feel comfortable and even excited about the environment they’ve just entered. We value the application of God’s Word and we believe that teaching is for life-change not information exchange. We value creative messages often using as many visual aids as possible. We value great music and having a place where anyone, no matter where they are in their spiritual walk, can experience God and expect hope.
