Men’s Oikos Golf
Oikos Golf Is Back—Sunday, June 27 @ 4:00 pm at Ashwood Golf Course in Apple Valley. For $25 you get 9 holes, cart, and dinner afterward. We will also raffle off some great golf prizes (you will get your free raffle ticket when you sign in at the event). Invite a friend from your oikos! Sign-up after services in the patio (outside the Island) with your $25 or at the church office during the week. We will play a best-ball shotgun start contest—prizes for the winning team! (This is for men only.)

Men’s Conference
Every fall we get together for a fantastic retreat. Plan to join the men of HDC at Pinecrest Christian Conference Center for exciting seminars, dynamic guest speakers, and an occasional snowstorm. 2010 dates: Nov 5-7. Annual Men’s Outreach BBQ
Friday, July 16th, 6:30 pm, HDC Gym. We will be serving hot off the grill BBQ pork ribs and we have for a guest speaker I just signed a contract for A.C. Green to be the guest speaker at our BBQ!!! A.C. Green, is a retired NBA basketball player who played in more consecutive games than any other player in NBA and ABA history (1,192). He played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat. He led the Lakers in rebounding for six of his eight years on the team. Led by Magic Johnson, James Worthy and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Los Angeles captured back-to-back titles in 1987 and 1988, Green's second and third years with the squad. Green is known as deeply committed Christian and is well-known for proclaiming that he began and ended his NBA career as a virgin. During his playing days, his teammates would frequently send women to tempt him to compromise his morals. Instead, Green would respond by calmly quoting scripture. Currently, he runs youth camps through his A.C. Green Youth Foundation promoting abstinence until marriage. Father/Son Camp-Out
With an emphasis on relaxing together as fathers and sons, this weekend is a great opportunity to break out that tent and enjoy the great outdoors, play volleyball, horseshoes, hike, fish, or catch a boat ride. For more information call 245-2415 x 240.

PURE L.I.F.E. FOR MEN is restoration group that incorporates the use of restoration materials, spiritual disciplines, small group accountability, and prayer as a means to help men renew from a life of inappropriate sexual behavior. This program is committed to strict confidentiality and meets off campus.
