Run, Fly. . .Walk

I was raised Catholic and had numerous prayers committed to memory. I 
went to church every Sunday and was involved in church throughout the 
week. When I was in high school I lost a friend that was walking with 
God. It was graduation day June 14, 2000. She didn't even get to walk 
at the ceremony. All kinds of mixed feelings ran through my head. I 
blamed God and used this incident to live my life the way I wanted to 
live. I thought I was "living the life" but in reality I was digging 
my grave to Hell. It wasn't until December of 2006 that I was saved. 
My fiancée and I started attending Seven and started feeling these 
weird feelings. We continued attending Seven and began to understand 
these weird feelings. We had been blessed with the purchase of our 
home in December 2006, but we decided that we were doing something 
wrong. We decided to give up being sexually immoral in our 
relationship because we knew God would bless us if we waited for 
marriage. We joined "The Gathering" where we found awesome people who  offered support and prayers. From attending "The Gathering" we 
learned about HDC’s pre-marital classes. We started learning more and 
more about God.

We are now legally married and feel an abundance of blessings from 
God. We have learned how precious a kiss is and how awesome it is to 
have NO GUILT in our passion for each other.

It was very hard resisting temptation, but we knew that God would 
bless us more throughout our life if we did this.  It was our way of 
showing God that He is #1.

We are now connected with many friends that we didn't have prior to 
being saved. We didn’t stop at salvation but took the next step and 
got involved. Since joining "The Gathering," we have come to 
understand more about God.

I am proud to say that God is my BFF. He died for me and has given me 
every single thing I have in my life.

If you take anything from this, I hope you take this: "With God ALL 
IS POSSIBLE." Get involved and God will show Himself in every way 
possible in your life. It is so awesome to finally have a friend in 
God. You are the only one that can make that decision for yourself. 
I’m glad I did.

Our God is an Awesome God.
